I'm a medical doctor by formation but travelling and skiing are my passions!
I grew up in Italy but I've been living in Paris in the past 3 years and just loved it! Such a romantic city...so I got married to my longtime girlfriend in September, we decided to take a break from our usual life and now we are travelling around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I didn't use CS as much as I would have liked to, but it allowed me to meet some amazing people that I would have never met otherwise and that I'm still friend with! This community is really a way to give a deeper meaning to travelling and also a great way to have fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel from Italy to South Africa by motorbike, saw Mt Kailash in Tibet, was offered shelter for the night by one of the last Dani tribesman in Papua province, witnessed an improvised Vudu ceremony in the outskirts of Havana, saw a puma while walking the jungle, used my best diplomacy to legally cross a closed national border, saw the display dance of a male red bird of paradise, bathed the Ganges at Mauni Amavasya day during Kumbh Mela, crossed paths with an elephant while driving my bike, worked in an african hospital, dived the Great Blue Hole, achieved some of my skiing dreams in Italy, saw the real Paris Catacombes, saw a free concert of Paul McCartney at the Colosseum, married an italian woman!
