About Me

I'm moving to the Portland area to attend school. I'm friendly and pretty easy going and open to all beliefs and walks of life. My most important focus is school - I'm in Portland seeking my BSc in Renewable Energies Engineering. I'm not a huge partier, but I usually accept invitations to hangout with friends, when the offers arise. I like sharing stories and getting to know others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is a great way to meet new and interesting people from all around. I've traveled in hostels, stayed with host families, and been in hotels, but having the opportunity to meet new friends while traveling is better than boring hotels.

Interests

My interests span a wide range, but I like: photography, writing, reading, cooking, travel, swimming, dancing, hanging out with friends, cycling, singing, running, working out, exploring, ecology, news and politics, comic books, nerd culture, tattoos, piercings, motorcycles, surfing, animals, art... Could always be more, but I like so many things that this could get out of control.

Music, Movies, and Books

I typically like my music to be rock, my movies to be documentaries or action, and my books to be sci-fi... But I like it all really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

RPCV from the Philippines

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what to put... I can teach you some origami or how to juggle. I know some Tagalog and Waray-Waray. I've been working with a blacksmithing collective out of Seattle who build art for Burning Man... My degree is in psychology, so I like talking about that. I'll certainly share what I learn in school.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life story; fellowship... I can cook too, and I'm pretty great at it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
