An uninspired student with little knowledge of the wider world. I grew up in Ireland and occasionally went on holidays to the same destination with the same people year in year out. I'm not necessarily complaining but it gets pretty boring after a while. Basically I'm at a stage in my life where I feel I need to see as much as I can and meet as many people as possible. I'm adventurous and always up for anyone's version of a good time. A bad experience is a worth while experience in my mind (I'm trying not to sound egocentric and cringey but that's hard when you have to describe yourself to people you don't know). I'm generally always up for a good time and hate sitting around doing nothing. I'm open to new opinions and ideas and always have time for people points of view. That said I enjoy debating.
I also love drinking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason is experience. There's only so much travel brochures and travel forums can show you about a city or country.However local people know the real deal and I'd much rather go to a city's hidden gem than a museum that Gina and her family from Yorkshire thought was a "fun day out".
It'll be more of an adventure than anything. Staying in hostels I presume is pretty dull and boring, along with expensive at times. My family has also had people stay in our home occasionally and it would be nice to be on the receiving end of a lil hospitality!

Interests

I love acting ( clique I know ). I've been involved in a few pieces for friends and university. I doubt I'll make a career out but I enjoy it. I hate saying it but I really like working out. It's a big interest of mine and this catagory is interests. So I'm gonna include it. Sorry.
I love films. And I don't know if it's because I'm in college or not but I absolutely adore going out, as in "clubbing" or whatever you wanna call it. We just call it going out. I love music and meeting new people.
And obviously a massive interest is exloring.
Oh and I love gang documentaries for some reason? Like criminal gangs. Not sure exactly why.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is probably house at the minute. This changes regularly but I've been listening to a lot of house and techno recently. However I have an extremely broad taste in music. Only thing I can't stand is chart music and bloody trad. I hate Irish trad and country.
Although I study film and should love some artistic, thought provoking cult masterpiece, "Step Brothers" is my favourite movie.
I've always been a fan of crime novels. I recently read "the catcher in the rye" which I thought was brilliant.
