Overview
About Me
I'm from NY, from a French and a Dominican background, with a possible Jewish link as well.
I'm into the art world, from today's digital graphics all the way to the classical renaissance period.
Working in this field has changed my life in a colorful way by getting to know all the branches associated
with this kaleidoscopic domain, including my recent gigs as a photographer now.
Since I'm a natural people's person, I love the process of interactions with all people I meet along the way,
and I also enjoy adventures, and I like to have fun by going out and exploring all the hidden and
underground entertaining spots of my city, as well as other amusing neighborhoods in its close proximity,
like Williamsburg, Bushwick and Industry City, and the back-alley night clubs and nightly entertainment locations
of my hometown Manhattan too, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm in Couchsurfing because I like to meet people from other countries and cities, learn from their
cultures, customs and traditions, and at the same time help them while visiting my city. I also look
forward to getting hosted myself by my CouchSurfing guests if I decide to visit their cities.
As I've discovered this hospitality site through a friend of mine, I think it is a great helping tool for
people who don't have enough lodging funds, and whose passion is traveling to different cities
around the world for business and pleasure alike.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music, but to be more specific about my personal favorite music,
I can say that I like Jazz followed by dance music like Disco, Funk, 80's Pops, House and other kinds of electronic music, etc.
As for my favorite movies, I like Sci-fi, suspense, mystery, comedy and animated films, etc.
My favorite books are the following:
Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes,
The Odyssey by Homer,
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald,
The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner,
You Are Not a Stranger Here: Stories by Adam Haslett,
Sophie's World: A Novel about the History of Philosophy by Jostein Gaarder,

and finally, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Díaz, so on and so forth.
