Seeing the country through the locals' eyes! I've stayed with people in Warsaw, Brussels, Riga, Tallinn, & Paris - thanks to couchsurfing, I've been able to see nooks and crannies of those cities that I'd have never noticed otherwise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Taipei, Taiwan and got a ride from a really nice old guy who took me on his scooter to the beach, and I got to see the Taiwan Strait with my own eyes! That was neat.
