My name is Joseph Ryan Martinez, I am a film director/ producer. I'm currently employed at a production company in East Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA. While as a director/ producer there, I've produced and sold two doc films and two music videos within the past year

I am currently directing a short film about a dog who is the equivalent of Indiana Jones, but as a golden-doodle. I am also directing a feature documentary film about Chicago Bears Superfans and their relationships with their loved ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a filmmaker affords me the time to travel sporadically. I have friends all over the US, but don't always expect them to give me housing, so Couchsurfing.com is a great way to see friends all over without expecting to stay over. This site is also a great way to meet new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just recently traveled completely around the globe shooting video in Yosemite - Tokyo - Okinawa - Kyoto - Osaka - Paris - Marsellie - Manchester - London. Moved to Los Angeles in April of 2016.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook an almost perfect breakfast, and lots of healthy versions of famous dishes. (Lasagna, pancakes, spaghetti, vegan salads, brownies, & grilled chicken.) - Hablo un poco Español, pero practico todos los dias con amigos y en clasés.
