Hey there!
My name is Joseph, I'm 22 years old and a Business Management Student from Vienna.
At the moment I'm doing a exchange semester at the Federation University in Australia and I'm looking forward to travel around after this semester, to explore as much as I can from this awesome country.
I like to think of myself as a friendly, open-minded and easy going person, who loves to meet new people and experience other cultures. Till now I only travelled in in Europe, but I'm looking forward do experience other parts of our planet and to see how life is about there.
I would say traveling also shows me new sides of my own personality and makes me understand different things better and easier. It as well gives me time to think about how I want to go on and to refocus on my main goals in life. I'm generally not a person who plans alot of things and takes life more as it comes, so it is sometimes important to do such things to stay on track.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Till now I'm a couchsurfing virgin, but I hope that changes asap, because couchsurfing seems to me as the best way to experience new places and cultures as well as the perfect opportunity to meet new friends and of course I also hope for some insider tips for my trip.
Why I didn't do it till now? I never travelled alone and my friends haven't been fond of the idea to stay with "strangers" :) but the time has come and I'm looking forward to it!

Interests

Travelling and other cultures are my main interest, I'm always happy to learn new things or meet new people. I also enjoy doing sports and being outside, skiing and hiking are two of my favorite things to do in free time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My exchange semester, the experiences and memories I collected and friends I met up to now are things I never want to miss.

Two times interrail in europe with friends, I've seen so many different places and met so many nice friends, for sure some of the best time I had so far.
