I'm an Indonesian college student who is currently studying in Poitiers, France for my bachelor's. I can say that I'm quite well versed in my Couchsurfing experience, having hosted numerous guests in Indonesia (through my mom ( https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/elizabeth_lia ) as I didn't have my own place), and I've come to love this wonderful community as it has allowed me to get insightful glimpses to the diverse cultures of the world. My dream right now is to visit European countries during my study period here, as I've only been to Southeast Asian countries before I moved to France.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To understand and enjoy the beautifully diverse cultures in the world firsthand, and to hopefully help others in achieving the same goal.

Interests

First and foremost, I really, really love to learn. I believe that there is no such thing as having learned enough about something, or anything really. This is part of the reason why I really love to find out about things that people think of as insignificant; never underestimate anything.

I also believe that there is no such thing as a stranger, and strangers are just friends that we have never met yet. This is why I am totally open to meeting strangers; to open my mind on how others perceive the world and to share and understand our cultural differences.

While I would not consider myself as a travel addict, I do really love to see other parts of the world and everything that comes with them. You'll never appreciate the vastness of this huge world until you travel, after all.

I can never get tired of hard sci-fi books and movies, while old school rock songs provide an escape from the humdrum of my life :)
