Born in Montreal but now living in Vancouver, Canada. I'm very friendly and philosophical. I spend a lot of time thinking about life. I want to understand other peoples' cultures, ideas and values, and work towards building a global community. I want to make the world better by offering empathy, understanding and kindness.

Other than that, I'm more of a small group person than a loud party guy. I really enjoy long philosophical 1-on-1 conversations about different ideas. Or else I really like explaining my scientific research to people who are interested! See my other interests below :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because I can't think of any better way to learn about other peoples' cultures, ideas and values than by speaking to locals and (sometimes) staying with them in their homes. As well, it's always great to make friends while travelling and to share stories and experiences.

Looking for people with whom I can: stay with, grab a drink, grab dinner, go exploring or any other ideas anyone might have.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a background in environmental science. I'm especially interested in using technology to monitor forests, but I've also done some work on lakes. I could teach anyone interested about my science!

Otherwise, like I said before I'm enthusiastic about others' cultures, ideas, values, etc. I can teach and share my own, and am happy to learn about others'!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to share my own culture, ideas and life experiences. :) As well, I could definitely help to cook, clean the house, run errands or any other tasks to help out! I could help pay for food or if we drive I can help pay for gas.
