About Me

I'm an australian engineer who has been living in Germany since 2015. I had visited Berlin many times before but have recently moved here and I'm staying in this flat until the end of the year.

While I'm here, I'm doing an intensive spanish language course (beginner) and looking for a job in Berlin. If I find a good one, I'll stay but if not, I'll move on to my next adventure. Hopefully a few months to a year living in Chile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a people person, my friends regularly comment about how friendly and open I am. So it makes sense to meet new people from all over the world this way.

Now that I am finally living somewhere where I can offer people a couch, I'm so glad to do so. On the other hand, I have always been so thankful for the people who have taken me in while I've been travelling.

Interests

It's rare for me to meet a person who I don't find interesting in one way or another so I'm sure we'll find some common ground somewhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Amy Winehouse

Movie: Shutter Island

Book: Day of the Triffids

(It's always hard to choose favourites so I just wrote the first that came to mind.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to Germany alone, learnt the language, found a job and made friends in a town with a population of 13,000 - it was a bumpy road at times but it was a thoroughly satisfying experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning Spanish - any help on that front would be much appreciated. Maybe I can help you with your English or German.

If you'd like to have a drink or some food together, I'm almost always keen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I am couchsurfing, I always try to take my host out for a meal at some stage. A drink at the very least.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bangladesh, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Germany
