About Me

Hi! My name is Joe but you can call me sloppy joe. I have traveled quite a lot in the western part of the United States traveling by foot and by bicycle. Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and bike touring from Portland, OR to the bottom tip of Baja have been my big traveling accomplishments. I enjoy using my body to transport myself throughout my environment while learning from the locals that I move through.

I am currently on my first Europe trip visiting all my European friends I have made throughout my travels.

I try to travel as ethically as possible and add value to the places I travel through. For me to have a good experience, the people that help me along the way need to have a good experience.

I am easy going, enthusiastic, always have a smile on my face, and probably walking or riding a bike to keep me busy.

The minimum I need for accommodations is a place to lay my head out of the rain. I have a whole sleeping system with me so I will be more than happy to take the floor!

I travel very light and very open ended so I can usually stay as little or as long as you'd like. I can show up late and leave early if needs be.

Let's chat about what interests us about the world!

I hope to build long term international friends. If we hit it off, you can come to Portland Oregon and I can host you!

My Instagram is @bagelgirl93 if you want to see more of me. Please tell me you're adding me since my profile is private
