Hey, I'm Joe and I'm 20 years old. I am currently studying for my chemistry degree at the University of Nottingham and I live in a house (about 20 minutes walk from city centre) with 6 other students (4 boys, 2 girls). I love playing guitar, watching live music and taking photographs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because my friends introduced me to it on our trip across Europe, and it was a great way to meet local people, and make new friends while travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like punk, indie and hardcore music, my favourite band is My Chemical Romance. I am a fan of UK sit coms such as The Office and Peep Show. I also like cartoon shows such as The Simpsons, Family Guy and especially Rick and Morty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and my friend James travelled across Europe this summer, visiting 9 countries in 30 days and couchsurfed throughout, we met tonnes of lovely people and made some amazing memories. It was one of the best things I've ever done.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you around the local area (Lenton) where I have lived for the most part of 2 years while studying. If you play guitar I have a few so we can jam together, or I can teach you to play some chords if you can't! Also if you like clubbing/nights out Nottingham is a great city with lots of bars/clubs, I'm sure we could go into town and have a few (too many) if that's your thing!
