HEllo!

We are Joseph and Shannon. Yes we are a couple, and a package deal ;). But no worries tho, we are not that into PDA ! We are young, fun, flexible and hungry to see the world one country at a time. We are new to couchsurfing, but very excited for the adventure it brings with it. We are originally from suriname ( that's a country in the north of south America, in case ya didn't know :P) and with that comes tidiness, good cooking, a lot of laughter and good enough manners . We look forward to meeting new friends !!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've lived in the westerns world for a while now. But we got bored from the normal way of traveling.... soo.. Couchsurfing seemed like cool way to meet new people, learn new cultures and make new friends! We are open to new people and new insights on life and on the world as we know it. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

We listen to a fusion of songs. from hip-hop to love songs, to house, dubstep, instrumental type music, rap, electronic and even some country music (Shannon).

With movies there is a split tho... :P Shannon loves romantic and drama movies, while Joseph likes action, comedy and psychological movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well from the two of us Shannon is the more ballsy one. On her birthdays she always does something extreme. She did some paragliding, bungy jumping, indoor skydiving and surfing. Well all of those amazing things haha. Joseph is more of a crazy type, its possible that he ate the most pepper in the world, he auditioned and was on a talent show in Suriname and finished 4th place!!

We both did some crazy amazing stuff but now we plan to do everything together :)
