I am Joseph Were, i was born and raised in the rural village in Mbita, Kenya. I am a social worker, researcher, humanitarian, and community development worker. I love interacting with folks to change the world by developing rural villages and people living in the rural communities to become resilient and out of hunger. Currently, i am the director of Rural to Action community organization that empowers young minds in rural communities through skills training for young mothers, and provision of school meals to vulnerable children in rural primary schools.
