About Me

Currently living in Denmark with my husband and our terribly cute cotton dog named Siku Puði (Sykur Puði in Icelandic means marshmallow, and Siku in Greenlandic means Ice/ice cream, and Sykur/Siku is almost pronounced the same = play on words. Wee look at me being creative! Also, check her out in my album for a full on "aaaw" experience). Studying, trying to finish my master thesis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The places you go are only as good as the people in it.. Which is why I love couchsurfing! I've gotten so many amazing friends through this site, I will never be able to travel without using it.. Having friends in every new country you come to :')

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting new cool openminded people is the best.. Best place to do so, is couchsurfing! I'll meet up with people in Copenhagen if they need a friend, and I love meeting CS people when I travel.. It gives the best experiences! :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met up with some surfers in Copenhagen and have surfed in Berlin, London, Milan and Napoli

Music, Movies, and Books

Tina Dico is one of the few artists that stuck with me throughout the years, because I listen to pretty much anything.. And I watch.. pretty much whatever.. But when it comes to reading.. Oh.. It has to be romantic-easy to read books.. Anything from Marian Keys, Cecilia Ahern and I'm happy.. Anything that has a pretty cover (yes.. I'm the type that judge a book by it's cover) and smells like a new books gets me going.. Yeah, I'm that easy to trick when it comes to books..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Joined CS! What a world to join! I have friends in every country that I visit! It's an amazing page, giving you the opportunity to meet awesome people! But setting that aside, I must say.. ..Applying for a guide job in my own country.. I come from the capital, but I have worked as a tour guide in another city, and.. Exploring your own country is.. amazing! I love traveling, but seeing Greenland from a different point of view (kinda like a tourist) made me realize what amazing nature my country offers.. And I've seen more arctic animals in one summer in Ilulissat, than I have my whole life! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't eat yellow snow.. just.. don't..

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am respectful, considerate and very careful when being hosted. I love making myself at home, but know how annoying it can be to have people over that just don't respect anything, so don't worry.. I will try my best to be a good surfer :D Also, ask me all the questions you want about Greenland, as an old travel agent selling trips to Greenland, I will be able to recommend places and things to see and do.
