About Me

Feel free to contact me if you are looking for a place to crash for a night. If I am available, I would also enjoy the opportunity to give you a tour of worthwhile sights in Brooklyn and Manhattan. We might even take a water taxi.

I enjoy working out / swimming, making analog collages, ultimate frisbee, designing sound collages, and visiting museums. I have one lovable dog Teddy, who is very friendly and affectionate.

I'm learning the guitar right now. Teaching myself finger picking in the style of Elizabeth Cotton and John Fahey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The altruism of the Couchsurfing community is one of the best examples of a democratic, selfless, man-helping-man society that I strive to live in and cultivate.

If you are a good human, communicative, and respectful of my space, I would be more than happy to share it with you for a few nights to aid in your journey, wherever that may be. You could be coming from halfway across the world or even just halfway across town. Let's see how our paths intersect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met a man who lost everything in a tsunami back in 2010, now he lives in the shack on the beach where he teaches people how to surf. He shares everything he has and surfs every damn day of his life. I want to simplify my life and be as strong, kind, generous and for real as him someday.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you how to turn a cardboard box and some fishing line into an Aeolian harp
