Hi! I'm Crow! Some folks still call me by my given name, which is Joseph, but I prefer Crow. I work in the Film/TV industry in Austin, TX, USA - specifically in the Sound Dept. I also draw and paint a lot, and would like to one day make 2D animated films.

I'm a twin! My twin brother's name is Erik, and we often travel together, however this January I will be traveling alone through Japan for three weeks! I'm super excited!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to host a bunch of people back in college when was living in Chicago, but for most of my adult life in Austin I lived in a super small apartment and have constantly been working. Right now I'm subleasing my room and am traveling around for a while, staying at my brother's place in Austin when we get work on a film!

So far I've had nothing but great experiences with all the people I've hosted. I've surfed only a couple times, but plan on surfing a bunch this January when I travel to Japan!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have been studying a Chinese discipline for steeping and serving tea called Gong Fu Cha for 8 years. I usually bring my tea set with me when I travel, and am always happy to make tea for people!

I can also cook! I've got lots of tasty American and non-American dishes up my sleeve!
