ABOUT ME

I can include anything at all?! Oh blimey...

Well, I like to meet new people (hence this whole couch surfing thing)and I want to start taking more risks in my life, doing things I've never done before and not worrying about the consequences.

I'm always very polite and try to make sure that I clean up any mess or anything I make, so it'll be as if I was never there. (Except for some good memories, I hope!) I'm definitely more a fan of friendly conversation and sightseeing than clubbing and drinking. I'm also quite a video game geek, so if you can't stand them then...Well, I could suppress it, but it might be better just to go with someone else anyway.

I also get on well with just about everybody I meet, though I'm sorry if at first I'm a little awkward and shy, it'll pass soon.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not exactly in full control of any couches at the moment, so I'm just a surfer right now. However, if my surfing goes as well as I'm hoping it will, then once I have my own couch, that thing's practically a board.

...Like...Y'know, a surfboard...because Couchsurfing...

I'll be quiet now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only Couchsurfed once so far, but it was brilliant! Met some really lovely people and shared a few lovely days and evenings with them!

Games, books, meeting people, television (though not very much recently.) Not a follower of sports, so if you mention anything sportish to me I'll be happy to learn from you, but I can't say I'll be able to contribute much.

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Disney, Studio Gibli.

Music: None specifically, really. I'm typically more a fan of specific songs than of artists. That said, I typically enjoy Indie music.

Books: Anything with a good adventure in it, especially fantasy books, like Game of Thrones, Terry Pratchett books, Hunger Games.

Interrailing is without a doubt the most awesome thing I've done: Visiting 9 countries in 24 days, I met so many wonderful people and saw so many amazing things!

I love exchanging languages with people, both practising foreign languages myself and helping others practise theirs.
I also love meeting people from other cultures who can tell me interesting things about their town, country or customs.
