About Me

I'm a friendly, open-minded person who has grown up in several countries and just finished my studies in Materials Science and Engineering. I like to challenge myself to push my boundaries (especially in endurance sports) and love exploring and discovering new cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet locals while travelling and discover a city from a non-touristy point of view (learn about the local culture and inside tips ;) ).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I don't have any favourite artists because I mostly like individual songs. I'm open to any genre but I prefer music I can dance and sing to.

Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean, Princess Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Intouchables

Books: Liaisons Dangereuses (Laclos), This Earth of Mankind (Pramoedya)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finished Ironman Zurich in less than 12 hours in 2018.
Donated stem cells anonymously.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach whatever people what to learn, if I feel competent enough (for example languages like English or French, how to train for an Ironman or about sustainable lifestyles). I'm quite patient and I'm very happy when people acquire a new understanding of things thanks to me.

I love learning about other people's experiences, and learning new things. I also like to have interesting discussions about the human condition, especially with people coming from other cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love food, so I'm willing to cook, but otherwise I'm very open-minded so it depends on the host I guess.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Russian Federation, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Tanzania, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
