Hello, I’m Jo! Im terrible at updating this profile so the message you are about to read is a few years old. I am still super down to meet new friends and go on more adventures. I am definitely and need to get out of this town for a while.

Anyway….I’m quite shy in large groups, but people fascinate me, and I’m always trying to make new friends. I love exploring and am working on overcoming my self doubt so that I am able to try new things and get the most out of this life of mine. I am having a go at being a vegan...it’s worth it. 💓 (Edit: over a year later, I still am trying—-but I have days where I’m far from perfect. And that’s okay.)

I’m not always the best at making plans/messaging hosts, but I’m trying my best! I don’t talk a lot in person. That’s just how I am.

I previously lived in a house with other roommates who hosted couchsurfers and it was such a pleasant experience for everyone involved! I met some really interesting people that I never would have had the opportunity to meet without this app.

Now that I am traveling alone, I hope to utilize Couchsurfing as much as possible in order to meet interesting new people and get a local’s opinion and suggestions along the way. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to meet other travel enthusiasts and use their knowledge to help guide my way!
