Overview
About Me
Curious adventurer, amateur archaeologist, enthusiastic photographer, perpetual wanderer. Always in search of new experiences, and can't get enough of old buildings, national parks, and good food. I spend most of my time actively avoiding cubicles and dress codes and searching for the perfect beach.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a perfect opportunity to bring together my love of travel and meeting new people. I value people and experiences, not stuff, and believe that every interaction we have with another person is an opportunity to learn something new- about our world, and about ourselves.
Interests
Photography, writing, cooking/ sharing/ discovering good food and drink, yoga, running, hiking, getting lost in a new destination and thereby discovering the best parts of it. Finding the perfect balance between doing all of the things that make me happy and doing nothing at all.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read mainly non-fiction, but am a huge Game of Thrones addict, both the books and the series. I'm equally obsessed with most-things Tolkien and CS Lewis. My interest in movies spans everything from action to sci-fi/ fantasy to BBC's Planet Earth. My music library has a little bit of everything in it, from my upbeat running playlists to classic rock to yoga music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My life has been full of amazing moments. A favorite was doing a two-week yoga retreat in Koh Phangan, Thailand, where I got to live in paradise doing something I loved, and met some truly incredible people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hosted an informal yoga practice at my home in Thailand for over a year, and I hope to continue to share this passion as I travel. I would also love to meet up with any fellow runners/ hikers/ explorers who aren't afraid of getting a little dirty to really get to know a place, and share a great meal afterwards.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook and really feel like a good meal brings people together like nothing else can. I can also teach you how to stand on your head, if you're interested in that sort of thing.
