To be honest I think it's a bit awkward to talk about myself but I'll give a try :)

I'm brazilian and lived most of my life in Brazil. I love to meet new open minded people and connect to them. Explore new places and let myself be changed by these experiences. Nothing very different from what I have seen around here in Couchsurfing.

What I like most about these experiences is the way they change and inspire me to become a better person. It feels like a spiritual growth. I feel connected to people, moments, places and start to see better how life is much more than what it looks like and how we should strive to understand our own selves, our tastes, what we like and what we don't, etc.

I'm a nature person and like outdoors activities. I would rather go jogging/hiking/climbing/cycling somewhere than drinking in a pub (although that happens too sometimes :). Love to chat about experiences, movies, books, etc. Have no religious orientation and respect everyone's belief equally. I personally feel myself in a spiritual journey with plenty of self development.

I'm also under a plant based diet. I'm not vegan per se but am much closer to this one than to, for example, vegetarianism. Love to cook and try vegan recipes. If you are brave enough you can have some :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's mainly to meet and connect to people. Not less important is to go beyond the usual tourist sightseeing tours and have more deep experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard to say.. changes very often. This section will likely be outdated in a not so distant future :)

Today, I'm listening a lot of Flaira Ferro, Umbanda songs, Caê, etc. Beatles, Dave Matthews and rock in general are usually around there too.

Movies it really varies a lot, ranging from super hero movies to some super cult french ones.

I'm currently reading books about mindsets, positive psychology, finances, etc. I'm always reading a lot of stuff too about software development.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed a week in the Kiune camp in Terra Ronca - GO/Br with my wife. Amazing people looking for connection too. No electricity and gadgets. It's really amazing how a week without them makes you much more conscious about yourself.

Travelled to chapada diamantina - BA with my wife. It was an eleven days trip where we camped, saw a lot of waterfalls and met amazing people! After that we both felt alive, in touch with our inner selves and willing to have more experiences like that.

Movimente! If you ever pass by Brasília make sure you go to one of the Movimente sessions. Even if you don't like it will still be a unique experience.
