Overview
About Me
I just graduated from a Bachelors degree in mechanical at LMU in Los Angeles and will be working at Boeing in El Segundo, CA in August 2019 on their satellite systems. After studying abroad for 4 months in Bonn, Germany a couple of years ago, I'm excited to go back to Europe exploring some of the many places I never got a chance to visit!
I consider myself a pretty well-rounded individual. I'm very passionate about science and engineering (particularly aerospace) and also a very sociable and positive person. I like to be a curious person and learn about other people and their interests. If you're a talkative person, I will love to sit and chat about anything!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm doing a post college graduation backpacking trip to Europe with my brother and a good friend for 3 weeks. We are starting in Milan, circling around the Alps and then going down to Croatia, ending in Dubrovnik. We heard from a friend that it was a great experience using Couchsurf and meeting the hosts, so we thought we'd give it a try. I'm excited to meet and talk to the locals and learn more about the culture as well as their recommendations on good food to eat and places to see!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once rescued 7 drowning children while working as a lifeguard at Huntington Beach, CA. A summer camp of around 30 kids maybe around 8 years old were playing close to shore and got suddenly sucked out in a rip current. Most of them made it in fine, but I ended up pulling in 7 of them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will offer all that I can!
As an engineer, I'm great at problem-solving so if you have anything that needs fixing, maybe I can help out!
As a beach lifeguard for 5 years, I can rescue you if you drown! Or do CPR or first aid in the unfortunate situation that you might need it!
I have started learning the guitar this year, so if you have one I can try to play a little for you! Or my friend Austin is much better, so I will also offer his skills to you.
On the off chance you have a didgeridoo, I can play that!
I can try my best to give you a good laugh! I have been known to be funny sometimes.
