Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I quit my job to travel the world alone and study theater/movement in different countries/just travel. Couchsurfing allows me to save money--I'm making my way from Ireland to Japan over the course of a year, so I need to stretch my money out--and it's a great way to meet friendly locals! It's a much more unique and fulfilling experience than staying in a hostel with other tourists: I want to see a city and country through the eyes of the people who live there.
