Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To share music, a couch, great experiences, and travel the world
ABOUT ME
I am a happy-go-lucky musician - Mandolin, guitar, ukulele (and screechy violin at best) I really like to meet people and love to travel, love to play music, stomp my feet, have a classy glass of wine and talk about kids these days and how we used to have to walk to the internet store in our day... haha - Just out to get a little of what's out there waitin'.
PHILOSOPHY
I feel a philosophy of mine would be that staying positive and happy is a good plan and helps the world around you in one way or another - We determine how much affects us in some ways and life and time keeps moving so you might as well have fun
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to invite travelers to stay on my couch at my house in Denver, and find hosts when my band is on the road, to lay a weary head down for me and possibly my band Ponder the Albatross as well
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had great hosts all across Europe and while on tour in the states, all of my experiences have been great, I very much like this community of like minded people
Interests
I love to play music - preferraby the Mandolin as it is small and can be played while walking - multi tasking - I like old cartoons, super heroes, chess, sight-seeing, and watching live music - swimming, jumping off stuff right before swimming - I can be talked into most adventures -

Movies: The Big Lebowski, Tombstone, cheesy 90's movies ,Cheesy scary/sci fi movies that are trying to be serious but are hilarious, Braveheart, The Princess Bride, Cartoons, Most Pixar movies, anything with sparkly vampires(kidding)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Haha let's see here - time to try to be a braggard
I climbed the highest Mountain in Colorado barefooted (a few years ago, don't know what my feet would think of that now)
Rode a 250cc Motorcycle that didn't drive fast enough on an overnight 17 hr trip with a backpack ukulele and mandolin strapped to it - (that one mostly just hurt)
Saved a small dog from dying in a lake frozen over with ice and fell in in the process(actually happened)
Taught a baby bear how to do sign language and graduate from college to be an astronaut(definitely didn't happen)
Every sight that I've seen, eclipses, Waking up in a train during a sunrise in the Oregon wilderness, snowboarding alone, all the concerts I have seen, wild animals, sights from travels, new people and experiences - all these things are unique and amazing -
Teach, Learn, Share
Id love to teach anyone how wants to know anything that I can teach about Music - I can share things that I've learned and would love to know the boundless libraries of knowledge that I don't - I think when you teach you learn as well - so I think I've got a lot to learn, but maybe I know something you don't (unlikely haha)
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, United States
