What's happening beautiful explorers!

My name is Josh and I am 31. After 10 years as a firefighter working in the military, I left my career to explore the world.

But, to save you time - I was a fireman, struggled mentally with things I had to deal with in armed conflict, contemplated alot about the meaning of life etc so i quit, sold all my stuff and took off round the world for adventure, discovered yoga and the benifitis it had on me, and became a yoga teacher!

My passion for travel has always been in my family for generations, so for me I usually haven't spent much longer than 5 years in any home or city since being born! I love that though, I want to wonder around the world enjoying everything life has to offer, keep growing as a person and when I'm old and grey on my death bed I'll have the biggest smile on my face like I've just got off the best theme park ride of all time because of my experiences! (Does that make sense?!)

I pride myself on my open mindedness, and pushing the boundaries on anything new. I can pretty much always find the positives in any situation which definitely allows me to enjoy my life so much.
As for my character- In a nutshell i am a hedonist, i'm a really happy, energetic and polite person who loves spending time with many different people across the world to hear and learn they're stories and backgrounds. I find it really interesting! (Or nosey?!)
I love life, always crave adventure and always try a new experience nearly everyday no matter what (big or small)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

After a break of travels, adventure and work commitments I've only just discovered the couch surfing community a few years back! so my god I'd love to open up so many more opportunities for myself and others wanting to travel with this experience during my round the world trip!

Intereses

Love all board sports, be it surfing snowboarding or wake boarding! Enjoy team sports too. I love motorbikes (ive owned a few), trucks, off-road vehicles, rock climbing, oh love a good camp getaway, swimming anywhere scuba diving is always a passion of mine. Chilling on boats, Beasty cliff jumps! So many things. I guess outside is my interests haha!

Only this past year have I enjoyed reading books! Music is my life, can't go without music of any kind. Ohh there's too many awesome films to choose from, depending on my mood! As a ball park- thrillers, documentaries, crime, adventure, war, comedies and action

Algo increíble que he hecho

My job was bringing "fallen" soldiers home, and Keeping soldiers alive coming off the battlefield in Afghanistan long enough to reach hospital aid with all different life threatening injuries. This is Most definitely my proudest time spent in the military.

I can teach youuuu most board sports if your down? I have a passion for languages, you teach me yours and I'll teach you mine! Love sharing life stories and crazy near death experiences!
