Well I am an outdoor enthusiast who loves to learn about anything and everything. I am constantly backcountry backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, and running to get my daily dose of nature. I also appreciate art and strive to foster a creative and open atmosphere wherever I go. I enjoy writing poetry and playing music specifically. I have played saxophone for 9 years along with some clarinet, piano, and drums. I strive to have conversations that transcend small talk and am open to just about any experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a college student eager to experience the world on an international level. I am not interested in going to "places" but rather in experiencing a culture. Instead of going to see tourist destinations I strive to meet people and gain connections whilst staying active and getting outside. I have heard lots about this website and great experiences others have had with it and would like to give it a try myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

16-hour grueling 9-pitch, 1000 ft climb in Red Rocks, Las Vegas. Beautiful route called "Crimson Chrysalis" with two great friends. Definitely one of the hardest things I have done, but well worth the satisfaction of climbing a seemingly impossible rock face.
