Hi my name is Josh!

I work in the American Television and Movie Industry where I write, produce and act for Hollywood projects. I have been in movies such as Last Vegas with Robert De Niro and Morgan Freeman. I have also had major roles on projects such as: Steven Spielberg's Red Band Society, the Syfy Channel's American Warships, and the BET channel's Frat Brothers. The last two years of my life were spent working on the Dreamwork's Studio film The Girl on the Train, along with ABC Studio's Quantico. I wrapped working on Quantico in June of 2017 and have been focusing on developing my own Digital Marketing and Production company.

I am a very easy going person and love meeting new people. Learning about new cultures and ways of life is one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy a nice philosophical conversation about life, the universe politics, and diverse religious belief systems; however, I also enjoy laughing by having goofy conversations.

I thoroughly enjoy exploring new places, going on adventures, exploring new nightlife scenes, enjoying a day at the beach, boating, fishing, hiking, listening to a variety of music, watching a good movie and/or TV series, playing a video game from time to time, and being creative in any form.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly, I LOVE meeting new people. I spent an entire month Couchsurfing all of Europe and stayed with eight different people. All eight people will be best friends of mine for life. I still stay in touch with every single person. In fact, one of the Couchsurfers who I stayed with, in Northern Ireland, came to New York City to meet up with me recently. Seeing how these friendships developed is what motivates me to continue the Couchsurfing experience.

I will be in Costa Rica 4/15 - 4/23 and would love to meet the local crowds.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I truly love all forms of music (well maybe not screamo and heavy country music). I love Jazz, Classic Rock, and Modern Day Hip-Hop/Rap.

Movies: I have a favorite movie for each genre of film. I love Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen movies for comedies. I love Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino for Action films. My favorite old time movie is The Warriors. My favorite modern day movie is Mad Max Fury Road.

Books: I love reading educational books in subjects that interest me. I have read a lot about film making, screenwriting and acting. I have read incredible motivational books such as Dale Carnegie's How To Win Friends and Influence People, The Secret, and Robert Evan's The Kid Stays in the Picture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently wrote and produced a children/family-friendly short film called Stinky Feet: The Short. The film was accepted and premiered at nine festivals around the world including: China, Taiwan, Spain, Montana, North Carolina, California. and Florida.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing wisdom, but I also love learning myself. I believe that one of the greatest things we can do as humans is to always continue educating ourselves.

I am happy to share my stories and experiences of my time working with Hollywood actors and film productions. I am happy to also share stories from my travels. Within American, I have traveled to over thirty states. I have also been to Mexico, Israel, the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Bimini and all throughout Europe.

Cooking is one of my specialties! Want a tasty and delicious meal from my culture? I'd be more than happy to cook up an assortment of recipes.
