Overview
About Me
I am someone who loves traveling and getting to know new people. I was in southeast Asia for a bit and now am traveling around Europe after a year of service in New York. I'm a people person, love dogs and most animals, really enjoy watching/playing basketball, hiking, and finding adventure. Oh, and I'm a huge foodie. I love to find the best hole-in-the-wall food spots, really like to cook, and just exploring new cultures' cuisines.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm originally started couch surfing because I was traveling by myself for 3 months all over Southeast Asia. I'm fascinated by other people's cultures, interests, and stories. I'm someone who loves to connect with people. Whether that be chatting over coffee, hiking a mountain, or just communicating through the universal language that we all speak, it's just nice to get to know new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite movies are The Shawskank Redemption, Remember the Titans, and pretty much anything with Robin Williams in it.
I love poetry as well as nonfiction, and obviously Harry Potter. Some writers that I'm currently reading are James Baldwin, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and bell hooks.
I like music a lot and am open to all kinds of music!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done is volunteer in New Delhi. A few summers ago, I volunteered for month in a center supporting children with disabilities. It was amazing to learn about a new culture, meet new friends, and learn about the city of New Delhi. I loved working with the kids in the center and loved traveling around India!
