Overview
About Me
Fairly easy going guy with 1 flatmate. Always looking to accommodate fellow travellers and hopefully make their time in nz a little easier
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main reason I'm on couchsurfing is the experience of meeting new people. Being able to introduce travellers to a little slice of New Zealand, and hopefully having the same done for me in return as I explore the world is an amazing way to make new friends.
Interests
What am I interested in?..hmm my interests are actually limitless. I'm always up for a unique experience and giving something new a go. The things I currently do a lot of is; movies, music, travel, food and drink.
I watch as much film as I can, although I haven't seen many movies made before the 90s
I struggle to get through a day at home without the radio on, and have developed a love for rock music.
Whether I'm at home or travelling I do my best to eat out as often as I can and experience new and local cuisine...even though it can get very expensive in New Zealand!!
And travelling..my goal is to see as much of the world as I can..and not only tick off all the must do and see sites..but also travel off the beaten path and see a side to a country that a travel brochure might not show you.
Other interests are : computers(gaming), fishing, rugby(all blacks) watching most sports on TV, and a good beer or whiskey at the end of a day.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll pretty much listen to any genre of music however my main tastes lie in rock music. In fact I could talk for hours about the different musicians I've seen over the years. My favorite band is the Foo Fighters.
Books..hmm I don't really read as much as I used to when I was younger..
I'm a huge movie buff and try to watch as many new films as often as I can..although I haven't seen many pre-90's. My favorite film is Almost Famous.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't really consider a single sight or action to be the most amazing thing I've done..it's more a collection of challenges...and when I look back to who I was yesterday, I'm completely amazed at how I continuously find a way to push myself outside of my comfort zone...mainly through travel. These experiences as a whole is the most amazing thing I've done.
Teach, Learn, Share
The main things I can teach or share would be anything that falls under my interests...as well as any advice on New Zealand! As far as learning goes I'm pretty easy going and would love to be taught about something I have no experience in. Although if it's something I have a little knowledge in its always good to learn a little more too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer my hosts a trustworthy and honest guest as well as someone who can hopefully teach them about the world as much as they can teach me. Also a genuine interest in anything they have time to share with me.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Belgium, Cambodia, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Laos, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam
