Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing because I am going to browse on here to do to keep my mind sane during exam week. I have two exams tomorrow and three the next day.
Really though, the main reason is because I was raised by a single parent with four other siblings. Due to my fathers position, I never got to see beaches or go on any vacations. I would love to see what the world holds.

I also want to couch surf because of experiences that have been shared with me. I started my own pressure washing and window cleaning business over a year ago and have been fortunate to meet a lot of great people. I have developed a lot of friendships with older people who inspire me an give wise advice. Many have told me stories of their travels and I could see the joy in their eyes as they reminisced. When I asked some of these wiser, older folks what the key to their happiness was at ages 80+, they say traveling and building relationships. I have been told this by numerous people and need to start practicing it.

Life is about building memories because one day that is all you will have. As people grow old, people die, relationships change, everything becomes different but those memories will still be there.
