Overview
About Me
I'm an Englishman now living in Vancouver of beautiful BC, doing my PhD at UBC. I'm in a Math department, but cancer research is what I really do.
I love the outdoors, especially when mountains and lakes are involved, so I'm always up for adventures! I'm obsessed with soccer (and hate the fact that I now have to call it "soccer" instead of "football"!), but I am known to sacrifice soccer for a day on the slopes, skiing at Whistler.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a newbie!
I love travelling and want to explore every corner of the world. But up to now I've done very little solo travelling, so I'm keen to see just how fun couchsurfing can be and make lots of new friends on my travels!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ridden a camel in the Sahara desert. And walked among rhinos in the Masai Mara. Kinda hard to pick just one of them!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my British accent and charm, my cooking ability, facts about science and soccer, and my experiences from travelling.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a quiet but sociable Brit, very respectful and a non-smoker.
Oh, and I enjoy cooking, so I'd be happy to cook dinner for hosts!
