About Me
Salutations to the people of the couch surfing world.
A bit about me: I grew up in the North Island of New Zealand, from the Hawkes Bay to the central Waikato, volcanic plateau, and the Great Barrier Island, in the Hauraki Gulf, northeast of Auckland City, which is a wild island on the outskirts of the Hauraki Gulf, Northwest of Auckland above the Coromandel peninsula. I have lived in many communities as a child and young adult; some without power and\or on small islands.
On the Barrier, I lived in a community in the North West region, above the second most Northern bay, and studied at home with my brothers and parents. We lived in a house with no electricity or running hot water. Often experiencing wild weather. I spent a lot of time in the bush, playing and working.
I have a passion for authentic living, alongside the land, animals and other people.
I've spent the last five years traveling and exploring different cultures and places. Often spending along time in one place settling in and getting involved with daily life, in England, Australia, and India. Including living/painting in an Indian palace. Living in a tropical fruit tree jungle, planting trees and living off fruits.
My dreams: plant more fruit trees and have a garden of my own. Learn portrait photography and share the stories of the people I've met as I travel. Travel Central Asia overland!

Music, Movies, and Books
Alice in wonderland, little house on the Prairie, On the road,
My favourite movie at the moment is "Princes mononoke", and I love a good Documentary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitch hiked from Bangkok Thailand to new Dehli India. In a group of six people. A three month mission of roof top truck rides arcoss rural South Asia and Myanmar. Mountains, boarder crossings, and the most far east corners on India. Lots of tea, rice, pagodas, dogs, and moon lit roof top truck rides. Experiencing the friendliest People, wildest rides, and often most bizarre circumstances along the way. I have a big love for the Myanmar and Indian people I met who invited me into there home as a guest to there family.
Teach, Learn, Share
I taught bush craft to travellers on Great Barrier island, water safety at beaches for surf life saving, coconut knowledge to share, herbalism, and fruit/foraging knowledge.
I can share stories, travelling experiences, and food, I love sharing. And any skill I have I love to share!
I like to learn anything!
