Im a teacher of English as a foreign language. I'm Irish/Norwegian. I lived in Russia for a year and now I'm moving on to Georgia then eventually China! I love getting lost and finding things off the beaten path. I'm interested in having true cultural experiences. Say no to nothing.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

After smy first trip abroad, I came to the realization that all people are fundamentally the same. I met great people everywhere I went and CS is how a lot of that happened. The second time around, I'm looking forward to the experiences and adventures I will have and hopefully CS will continue to facilitate that.

兴趣

The last job I worked before coming to Russia was being a dog handler at a doggie daycare. Best job I ever had, but I have always loved dogs. Music and movies have been a huge passion ever since I was a kid. I love appreciating, collecting, and creating both. I am a connoisseur of beer and tobacco. Longboarding and karate are my 2 favorite hobbies. Longboarding has broken my body a couple times but I still love it. And I'm currently training towards my black belt in Kenpo.

I've saved a bus full of children when the power steering failed and the driver wasn't strong enough to handle the wheel.

I have gone barefoot in Russia, Czech Republic, Romania, England, Ireland, Iceland, and of course the USA. I have also longboarded in all of these countries.
