A country boy, I continue to be bewildered and excited by all the big metropolises I visit. I'm student who enjoys relaxing with a drink a lot more than working. And obviously I love to explore and see new things!

Language learning! (It is my degree after all) But seriously...

Any and all water sports; I can kayak, canoe (yes, they are different), sail, row - basically any chance of falling in to a cold patch of water is my definition of fun!

The occasional Netflix binge - House of Cards has got to be my second favourite show of all time.... you know the first.

Bars are great (better than clubbing..... perhaps) but anywhere with friends and a drop or five of alcohol can never be wrong!

BIG Game of Thrones (and ASOIAF) fan, and great big novels in general - I do like classics like 1984, Pride and Prejudice or the Count of Monte Cristo. Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy is a fave.

Music - Berlin has definitely given me a taste for techno, but for non-clubbing times, a bit of indie or something from Tame Impala never goes amiss
