About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn more about myself
ABOUT ME
I am a well-mannered, respectful, and very open-minded guy; open-minded to different cultures, religions, and ways of thinking. I am also open to new experiences and I am just starting to enjoy pushing my limits of comfort and venturing into the unknown. I can be shy at first but I open up pretty quickly. I am educated and love photography and architecture. Architecture by profession, photography by passion.
PHILOSOPHY
Temet Nosce - "Know Thyself" I believe it's hard to truly know one's self because every time you're put into a new situation or learn from other people's experiences, you learn more about who you are. I'd like to continue learning more about who I am by experiencing new people and places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't participate much now...but hopefully that will change in the future. When I am finally able to get my own place, I think I'll be much more up for hosting couch surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
11/2012 - I feel like I have been updating this every couple days, haha. Which is a sign of how cool this website is. I've had 8 couch surfing experiences so far. (2 didn't even have accounts :O) but they were all great. They were all very welcoming and friendly. Overall, awesome.
Interests
(in no particular order) Architecture, Art, books, travel, psychology, music, philosophy, staying fit, and film photography. I'm sure there's much more but I'll keep it at this.

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of music, movies, and books. Over a road trip I'm planning I want to listen to some books on CD while I drive.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to Taiwan fall of '09 to study there and being able to travel the entire island was amazing. The summer prior, they had one of the worst typhoons they had seen in a long time. I was able to join a group of students that went to southern Taiwan to help rebuild homes that were lost in the storm.
Successfully completed a road trip... from Los Angeles to New York and back, taking a northern route to get to NY and a southern route to get back to LA. It was such an amazing experience. So many memories I don't think I can ever forget. I was able to see so many new people, places, and things. Really a great life learning/self discovering experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Traveling, whether it be alone or with others, just isn't as fun if you're not sharing your experiences.
