About Me

ABOUT ME

I really like music, listening, playing, singing at people unnecessarily even though I can't sing. I love meeting people and swapping ideas and food and general good things. I don't meet many people who I really can't get on with, especially the open minded liberal types who end up on the couch surfing scene.
I'm currently studying a masters in Globalisation, Environment and Social Change in Stockholm, which I'm loving.
I could write more random things about my life but I'm not sure what would be interesting so why don't we all just couch surf with each other and talk about our lives in person...

PHILOSOPHY

Pretty much just don't waste your life worrying about things you can't change, and if you can change them then do! So stop complaining. Unless you have a really good reason, which usually I don't.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Living with a family at the moment so can't host anyone right now I'm afraid!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed my way around Scandinavia recently and loved it. Met so many awesome people. Definitely my favourite way to travel!

Interests

I love all things music related, I play a few instruments (I'm not incredible at any of them but I enjoy myself), go to as many gigs as I can and I've even been in a couple of samba drumming bands.
Plus all the usual ones, reading good books and watching good films and good tv shows and going out with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a charity hitchhike from London to Morocco a couple of years ago which threw up a whole load of highlights including getting a lift in northern spain in the back of a VW campervan with a load of golder retrievers and winding up in San sebastien just in time for the semana santa festival! Then sleeping out in Marrakech under the stars.
Playing at the Samba encontro in Cardiff with hundreds of other Samba drummers was awesome.
