ABOUT ME

I'm a traveler, not a tourist. I go places to experience, not to simply see.

I am an independent kid open to new activities. I try new things and continue doing the things I enjoy. What do I like? Anything outside, anything in the ocean and anything in the mountains.

I am at first a kid of few words, but don't let that fool you. I have stories about travel, about lifeguarding, about skiing, and about many little things in life.

I tend to keep things simple. Just as this 'All About Me" is.

Hosting
If and when you are couchsurfing with me, I will try to be as free as possible so that we can hang out. I will only accept surfers when I am not working, or working very little. I do enjoy going to the brewery and having a few beers, but going downtown at night is not too common for me. I am always outside and can show you awesome parts of town, from the beach, the mountains, and the ocean.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to travel and meet likeminded people who care to share their passion for wherever they are and for the travel that takes them to new places.

Interests

Surfing, lifeguarding, skiing, snowboarding, backpacking. GTFO (Get The Fun Outdoors). Cooking and Eating. Traveling. I want to fly, all kinds of flying. I could add more and more, but that is for you to find out if and when I couchsurf with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: It's playing constantly in my head or out loud. Anything from acoustic (Jack Johnson, Gregory Alan Isakov) to Alternative (Imagine Dragons, The Kooks, Of Monsters and Men, Phoenix) to Electronic (Adventure Club, Glitch Mob, Blackmill) to Chill (El Ten Eleven, Lotus, Little People).

Movies: As long as the movie doesn't make me hide behind a pillow or scream like a little girl, I will watch it. Into The Wild is the top of the list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I paddled across the Santa Barbara Channel, 31 miles from Santa Rosa Island to Santa Barbara. This has been the most physically demanding day of my life.
I competed in Mexico in 2011. Multiple National Junior Lifeguard Champion. Celebrated Italy's 2006 World Cup Championship in Florence. Watched my dad fight many fires.
