ABOUT ME
Some six years ago I was 24 and I woke up. I didn't want to spend the best yeas of my life in an office! I figured that the things that I like are meeting people, talking, fishing, dancing, being in contact with nature, sailing, discovering new places, playing my guitar, laugh and much more things money cannot buy... But a lawyer doesnt do a lot of these things, at least not in the Netherlands.
I Left the Netherlands four year ago sailing the world on my small sailing ship. Sailed to Brazil via Europe, Canaries and Cape Verde. Then into the Caribbean and now Pacific. I enjoy meeting new people and discover the beautifull things in this world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy talking, sharing, laughing, making jokes, exploring each others culture. I am easy going and ready to help around with just about anything. I like cooking together for example and quit handy with my hands to fix small things or to help organize.

Music, Movies, and Books
Bossa Nova (Brasil), Fado (Portugal), African music, Habib Koite for example, Singer songwriter: Kings of Konvenience, Whitest Boy Alive, Jack Johnson, also love Sade music (80 s), and so much more!
p.s. I absolutely detest mainstream pop music - but I am no drag and will dance in any case :P
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Really amazing was when I was on the Atlantic ocean and lying on my back outside on my small ship. My crew slept and it was night as I looked up. I saw thousands of stars, the Milky way and the mast and sails gently moving. I heard the waves around me and the breathing sounds of the dolphins which had joined us. It felt I was actually sailing through the universe. It was one of the most amazing experiences in my life.
