Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started off as a surfer in Latin America and Europe, then was able to host many people at my home here in Portland. Now, my wife and I are back to surfing again for a time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had many amazing travel experiences, like walking in the salt flats of Bolivia during the wet season, traversing the dangerous Camino del rey, enjoying a quiet moment of reflection underwater with a giant turtle in galapagos. But those aren't the top of the list.
For a long time, interviewing my hero Noam Chomsky was the most amazing thing I'd done.
But I would say that meeting and marrying my beautiful wife Martha is the best thing I've ever done.
