About Me
Hi there! I'm Josh. 31, English, doctor, now living in London. I'm quite a laid-back guy, and I love to meet new people, to share experiences and find out others' perspectives on the world. I love to travel, so the pandemic has given me seriously itchy feet, and looking forward to getting out and about in the world again!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Its a great way to get to know a place. Every time I've couchsurfed I've ended up learning so much more than from staying in a hostel, and usually met some fantastic people too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Indie and 90s alt rock, house and techno, ambient, the odd bit of hip hop
Books:
My favourite changes, currently Infinite Jest. In general, I'll be reading some pretentious classic/modernist/postmodernist literature, political theory, and some occasional sci fi and fantasy (Discworld 4 lyf).
Movies:
I've seen way too many movies, let's compare favourites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing an elephant wander into our camp in Ngorogoro crater in Tanzania was pretty spectacular, as was seeing it charge at us 10 minutes later. I have never run so fast.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tell you about psychoanalysis and the best way to make cheesy scrambled eggs
What I Can Share with Hosts
Many stories from travelling, a lot of music, hopefully a lot of laughter.
