About Me
Life is about places, and the people you meet in those places and things you do there for and with them. Without the people you share beautiful moments with, personally at least, these places would only be empty shells.
My passions are art, people and life itself. In malaysia alone I've met so many unique people with different ways, opinions and lifestyles, and each are just as enchanting. From the colleagues whom I have met from places across the globe and the indigenous people of Malaysia's jungle who I had the pleasure of living with and teaching, fighting to preserve their own rights and identity in this fast-changing world, I have really learnt so much and been inspired to extents I never thought imaginable. And I'm not about to let to stop here, my journey has only just begun and I'm on my way to live through as many invigorating memories and burning tears as I can get..
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm brand new to couch surfing, and I'm really looking forward to experiencing the exiting times and beautiful people I'll meet along the journey I'm about to embark on. I've spent the last year plus since last october working for an NGO in Malaysia called SOLS24/7 as a community development officer in rural communities, working primarily as an english teacher with side projects suited towards the needs of the community. As of December my contract will come to an end, and before I return to England to continue my studies I can't possibly miss out on learning more about the rest of Asia where I've never even set foot on.
Interests
Honestly people, and academically: anthropology.
I could go on for a while though, because I believe its not what you do that makes life interesting but how you do it and who is doing it with you...So I'll just leave a few.

The God of Small Things
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taught the orang asli in Malaysia and learnt all about their culture, history and lifestyle, as well as visiting their relatives of other tribes in much more rural traditional jungle settings and becoming almost as their family.
Well I left England at the age of 18 to follow my heart and not commit to a degree I wasn't completely passionate and sure about at the time ; I've been told thats pretty cool. But i can't say for sure if it's really amazing or not.
Personally the best thing I've done is through everything, thick and thin, pain and smiles, I've remained myself and stood by my convictions no matter what.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't have a lot physically, and skills of mine are limited too considering I haven't lived that long to attain an awful lot.
What I do have though is burning spirit and passion of fire for this world that I wish to share like a candle can.
