September 2016 -- It's been 5 years since I sold everything and took off with a backpack and my dreams of travel. Paris > Berlin > Prague > Budapest > Athens > Istanbul then *5 months* in India and *2 months* in Nepal; after a short return home I moved to London for 4 months then lived and worked in Yangon, Myanmar for 5 months and then lived and worked in New York City for 6 months.

After nearly two years living around the world I ended up back home in Springfield, Missouri, USA to build a career and a home.
I knew I wanted to share my house with Couchsurfing and I have thoroughly enjoyed hosting all the great CouchSurfers that have come through my home and life.

I work for an organization that mobilizes college students towards social enterprise (www.enactus.org), I'm also very passionate and interested in environmental sustainability, social change, technology, and futurism.

My home has 4.08 kw of solar (16 panels) which produces nearly 60% of our electricity for the 4-5 people living between my two houses. I'm really wanting to explore and experiment with solar thermal to create hot water for a variety of uses within my home.

I have a 200 hour yoga teacher training in ashtanga / vinyasa (January 2012) and a 200 hour yoga teacher training in kundalini yoga (February 2014). I have done quite a bit of teaching but not much at all this past year.

I was able to benefit so much from Couchsurfing whilst traveling.
Now that I am living and have a large home I want to share it with the world of travelers and dreamers so that I might help keep the art of traveling, and dreaming, and sharing alive in some small way.

I love live music and dancing. I love to hang out at coffee shops to talk and discuss ideas, etc. I like to read (books, magazines, websites). I love to go out to bars and night clubs to dance, drink, and socialize. I like to play sports of all kinds and billiards and darts.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went on a 12,500 km solo motorcycle trip across the western United States and into Canada. Along the way I camped out and hiked in some amazing National and State Parks (Yosemite, Zion, Grand Canyon, Badlands, etc). It was incredible and I hope to one day trek the entire globe on a motorcycle.
