About Me

I was a mathematician, then a farmer and house builder, I opened a board game store and worked as a firefighter.

I presently have a counselling practice and I love working with Internal Family Systems and am studying psychedlics-assisted therapy.

I live in the funky rural hippie town of Winlaw. I like the mix between the arts and getting my hands dirty doing things for myself. My days flip back and forth between building (a giant geodesic dome) and learning/practicing counselling. I spend a lot of time alone and in nature. I also enjoy climbing and circus arts with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a hobby farm in the slocan valley where I can host folks in my old camper vans. I also travel the world for climbing and fun and learning opportunities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to host folks in a college house when I was at UBC. I felt like it was a great way to get the feeling of travel in between being able to see the world myself... the travellers just came to me :)

I stayed at a couch surfing spot in Vienna when I was at a math conference there. It was easy and so helpful!
