I love to eat, cook, go to new restaurants, and read about food. I also love playing music, bass and guitar, plus singing. My job is to teach children in public school. My specialty is special education. I travel whenever I get a vacation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing. It seems like a perfect way to meet people and learn about their culture. I am happy to host travelers as well and show them around my area.

Music: Marvin Gaye, Dusty Springfield, Nina Simone, Tom Waits, Cal Tjader, Thelonious Monk...

Books: Anything by Milan Kundera, Kurt Vonnegut, and John Steinbeck. I just read Omnivore's Dilemna by Michael Pollan, a great book about making food choices. I love cook books and books about food.
