One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

spent shabbat with the last surviving community of Yemenite Jews in a village in the Yemeni highlands. only 400 remain (50,000 were there prior to 1948) and they practice a form of Judaism that has vanished from the world and will never return, as a result of Israel's creation.
