Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm initially on Couchsurfing to get to know and gain friendships with local people of the cities I'm travelling as well as meet fellow local travellers. To connect with people like you who are open to meet and hang out - get to know your life perspective/stories, for us to share them perspectives, have many laughs and who knows!! we may both take something from our (geographically) distant perspectives. To learn what the true culture of the city/country means to you through your eyes - what you love to do in your hometown. The reasons I'm currently travelling is to hear
points of view off people I wouldn't normally hear back home, to meet great people to share laughs and days with. I begin my travels in May, feel free to message as I'm more than happy to talk and get an early start on getting to know each other :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really have a favourite type of music in terms of genre as I constantly go through new phases, I love any music that doesn't follow a format that takes you by surprise that's unusually original (Including alternative rock/classic rock/house music/trance/folk/reggae/motown/golden era hip hop/drum n bass/funk) and love deep lyricists like Kendrick Lamar/The Verve.
Favourite Artists : Kings of Leon, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Fat Freddys Drop, A tribe called quest, Kendrick Lamar, Deadmau5, Fatboy slim.
Favourite Movies : Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Naked Gun, Scary Movie, Good Will Hunting
Favourite Books: Prefer true story books Or books that have philosophical basis, learning different perspectives to apply to my own way of living. The last book I read and really enjoyed was "Happy" by Derren Brown.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Although people say this as a cliche, its true for me - I'm very easy going, I don't waste time on stressing over small things so you won't have to deal with any high strung behaviour haha, I can share jokes - don't take myself seriously so favourite past time is making good humour out of anything. I can share music only if you want me to haha as I've been playing guitar for 12 years I can usually play any song you'd like to hear by ear. I can share cooking - I'm in no way an versatile chef but I enjoy cooking for people. I can share a motivation to make the most of any potential experience.
