ABOUT ME

I love adventure - hiking, skiing and snowboarding (haven't decided yet!), or even finding a new nook in Melbourne we haven't yet ventured down (a lot of good Melbourne clubs seem to be down alley ways filled with garbage).

I have just finished four years of business even though I still have problems splitting a restaurant bill after a glass of wine! Sometimes I hate to admit it but I love what I have studied - there is so much energy in the world markets at the moment... ah, don't get me started!

Interests

I love spontaneity - like get lost because you feel like it, or catching the Kind Island barge after a rediculously massive night.

Also adventure - hiking, road trips, travelling (hence the Europe trip), and connecting with people on some level, whether it be intellectual, cultural or just having a great time.

Also enjoy a good book or good movie... have a stack of about 5 books waiting until after exams - the wait is painful! Especially books that apply a philosophic reasoning... such as "My Life as a Quant" or "Fooled by Randomness" which both are incredibly rich in philosophy applied to finance.

Movies - #1 Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Pi, The Godfather, Kill Bill...actually anything by Tarantino, Apocalypse Now, Old Skool, The Thumbsucker, Man on Fire, Wah Wah, City of God.

Books - Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Rings, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Things Fall Apart, The Picture of Dorian Grey.

Music - eclectic...The Roots, Matisyahu, Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, Cat Stevens, Crowded House

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting chased by an elephant when I was 7, snorkelling Great Barrier Reef and lazing on secluded islands of sand around the Whitsundays, being snowed-in one of the worst snow storms to hit South Africa - totally unequipped! Completing a Centurion and then buying matching T-shirts and sunglasses with 3 mates and going to the worst club in Melbourne!
