ABOUT ME

Hi, i am South Dakota USA born and raised. Have lived here all my life, except for a year and 3 months when i lived in Laramie, WY and attended WyoTech for the automotive technology and street rod and custom fabrication classes. Graduated in 2005. I am a car and bike type of guy. I love hot rods and custom cars, and also my Harley. Have many projects to work on. Need more time to get them done so i can enjoy driving them instead of dreaming about them. I have many guy type hobbies, music (many genres but mostly metal), playing drums and singing, working on cars, building and running in demolition derbies, paintball, Frisbee golf, and many other things.

I bought a house a couple miles out of Aberdeen for me and my dog, Bailey. Its a nice 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on 3 1/2 acres in the country. I am working on getting things the way I want with the yard (need to do landscaping and build a bigger garden and trim trees and such). My goal in the near future is to work on trying to live sustainably and be food independent. In the distant future I would love to be off the grid as well. I am working on these projects in small steps to get started, then hopefully by this time next year I will be off and running on a good start to my dream.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to enjoy myself and try and help people around me enjoy their life as well. I would like to help the world by starting to live sustainably and help spread the word of a greener and healthier way of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to host. I have a great house to host a few people at a time if need be as long as you dont mind being out of town about 3 miles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, so amazing. I love couch surfing. All ive done so far is hosted, but hopefully soon we will get to surf ourselves. I love everything about the idea of couch surfing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hopefully in the near future i will be able to teach and show people about my sustainable living and self sufficient food supply. For now, i can explain the idea and the processes about it, the hows and the whys, but will not be able to show much for visual aids.
