Interests
So many...
Music, Movies, and Books
I read some sci-fi like the Nexus trilogy by Ramez Naam and the Wool trilogy by Hugh Howey. I also read a lot of non-fiction like Thinking Fast & Slow and anything by Michael Lewis. Favorite movies include Chinatown, Dark City, Fight Club, and anything by the Coen Brothers. I'm also a fan of nature documentaries having grown up on "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Adventures."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing can mean a lot of different things, but "one amazing thing" generally implies something big, grand, exceptional. I like being open to the "little amazings" that can happen anytime, anywhere. Like discovering a hidden gem or randomly meeting someone fascinating. I've done some amazing things, but I'm less interested in climbing mountains and discovering new shipwrecks than I am engaging with people, places, and experiences in an unfiltered, generally unhurried way. That said, a more typical answer would be a week of sailboat racing in 30+ knot winds off Vancouver Island.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm friendly, curious, and enjoy sharing experiences. I like to explore and share that sense of discovery with others.
